About FairPensions
Who we are
FairPensions calls for responsible investment by UK pension funds. As owners of about a fifth of the UK stock market, pension funds have the power to challenge companies to improve their behaviour. FairPensions believes that pension funds should consider their members' values - instead many pension funds invest in companies that undermine human rights and damage the environment.

FairPensions gives a voice to people who want their pension funds to be more ethical. We challenge pension funds to hold companies to account and show how responsible investment can generate better returns. FairPensions also acts as a watchdog of pension funds, urging greater transparency about their investments. We do this through:
Education: we run awareness campaigns to promote responsible investment
Research: we monitor the adoption and implementation of responsible investment by pension funds in the UK
Advocacy: we campaign on behalf of pension fund members for the responsible investment of their pension
