FairPensions is a registered charity advocating Responsible Investment (RI) for UK pension funds and fund managers. Occupational pension funds alone control about 860 billion pounds, about one-fifth of the FTSE. FairPensions works to help pension funds adopt responsible investment best practice.

FairPensions believes that investors should have robust policies in place to deal with environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues at the companies they own which are potentially financially relevant. Investors should actively engage with these companies, to promote effective management of ESG issues and of the risks and opportunities involved. In the long term, this helps to protect the value of their investments.

FairPensions' approach to investment practice is a product of its experience. Funds can expect FairPensions to show high levels of professionalism and confidentiality in it's dealings with players in the investment field. Our methodology has been developed with an in-depth understanding of responsible investment and it's results; a product of the experience of its board and management team.
